ARLINGTON BUILDING & DESIGN
Arlington Building Corporation is the construction division of the Arlington Building & Design family of companies, which has a proud 30-year history of serving South Florida. Our sister company, Wallcraft Custom, is one of the region’s most respected painting and epoxy specialists. Together, the Arlington family of companies provides experienced, detail-oriented construction services that meet and exceed expectations.
Bill began his construction career in the late 1980s working as his father’s assistant on job sites. Here he built and refined his construction skills including painting, wallpaper, drywall repairs, and much more. As his reputation as an expert painter grew, he founded Arlington Building and Design, a construction firm dedicated to providing expert construction services to clients throughout South Florida’s Atlantic Coast. Bill founded Wallcraft Custom in 1993 as part of the Arlington family of companies. Wallcraft Custom is a leading painting and epoxy company specializing in custom homes and high-end commercial spaces. Under Bill’s leadership, the firm quickly grew into one of the most recognizable and trusted painting contractors in South Florida. Today, Wallcraft Custom has over 150 employees on staff and serves more than a dozen different building contractors in the area.
Starting in 2005, Bill decided to get back into the building realm of the construction industry and began land development and home building outside of Asheville, North Carolina. To further serve the Southeast Florida market, Bill created Arlington Building Corporation, a truly multi-generational construction enterprise that is built on providing superior service and exceptional build quality. Bill and his family take pride in every construction project they undertake and are honored to help their clients realize their dream buildings.
After studying at the University of Florida, Brett built his career in construction by learning every phase of the process from the ground up. Today, he overseas projects from initial client relationships through final project closeout, taking full ownership of planning, execution, and results. Brett manages a wide range of responsibilities, including client and owner relations, sales coordination, strategic planning, job scheduling, trade partner management, and day-to day operational oversight. He controls schedules, budgets, and workflows with a disciplined, hands-on approach, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and without unnecessary complications. His timelines are carefully built to align with real world jobsite conditions - not guesswork- keeping teams accountable and clients informed at every stage.
Known for his ability to manage complex builds, Brett works closely with trade partners to align scope, resources, and expectations, creating clear direction and steady momentum from start to finish. He maintains direct, open communication across all parties, preventing problems before they arise and addressing challenges head-on when they do. From pre-construction planning to final inspections and turnover, Brett ensures every detail is completed to standard and every commitment is honored. The core of his work is a straightforward philosophy: build it right, communicate clearly, and stand behind the result. For Brett, building isn’t just about delivering a finished home, it’s about earning trust through clarity, craftsmanship, and results that speak for themselves.
A South Florida resident for more than 40 years, Joey is deeply rooted in the communities he helps build and the people he works with. Just like the rest of the Arlington family, he’s known for treating clients, trade partners, and team members like long term relationships and for taking personal pride in every project that carries the Arlington name.
With over 2 decades as Arlington’s COO, Joey plays a central role in shaping how the company operates and how clients experience the building process. He oversees sales, marketing, and quality control, working closely with each team to ensure projects are executed with consistency, accountability, and care. Joey remains actively involved throughout the life of each project, setting clear expectations on the front end and staying engaged through completion to ensure nothing is rushed or overlooked.
